The Center for Cultural Power
The Center for Cultural Power inspires artists and culture makers to imagine a world where power is distributed equitably and everyone lives in harmony with nature.
Grant #1: Funding from the Collaborative provided support to The Pop Culture Artist Disruptors Relief Fund to disburse funds to marginalized artists in the pop culture space who have been financially affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Grant #2: Funding from the Pop Culture Collaborative will support the Center for Cultural Power as they advance their newly launched Disruptors Fellowship program, supporting 10 emerging television writers of color who identify as transgender, non-binary, disabled, undocumented, and/or formerly undocumented. The Center will also seed knowledge, activation opportunities, and narrative-based work on gender and climate justice by working with entertainment-based partners.
