Fandom Forward turns fans into heroes. They use the power of story and popular culture to make activism accessible and sustainable. Through experiential training and real-life campaigns, they develop compassionate, skillful leaders who learn to approach the world’s problems with joy, creativity, and commitment to equity. Pop Culture Collaborative’s grant will allow Fandom Forward (formerly known as the Harry Potter Alliance), in partnership with Black Girls Create, to organize and facilitate an intra-fandom network-weaving project.
