BLD PWR engages pop culture, education, and activism to build and train an inclusive community of entertainers and athletes to advance radical social change. BLD PWR partners with grassroots causes and organizations at the intersection of gender, immigration, economic, educational, environmental and racial justice movements. The purpose of BLD PWR is to increase action and civic engagement, primarily focusing on uplifting and protecting the most vulnerable by undoing systemic oppression and combating state violence. The Collaborative’s grant supported BLD Power, via Community Partners, is to increase their organizational capacity to activate members of the entertainment industry and influencers in support of Hollywood 4 Black Lives campaign.
