Katrina Olson Hopkins brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as the Senior Director of Operations and Events at the Collaborative. With her focus on operations, internal system designs, and IT, she ensures that the organization’s daily functions run smoothly and efficiently.

A pivotal aspect of Katrina’s role involves orchestrating the Collaborative’s internal and external events. Renowned for her ability to produce transformative gatherings, Katrina creates spaces where diverse voices converge, fostering dialogue and facilitating narrative change.

At the heart of her work lies a dedication to enabling speakers and presenters to concentrate fully on showcasing just and authentic stories that reflect pluralist behaviors, while she manages the production aspect with precision and expertise.

Prior to her tenure at the Collaborative, Katrina honed her skills as a theatrical stage manager and production manager on Broadway, Off-Broadway, on national, and international tours.

She has collaborated with esteemed teams of artists on groundbreaking productions, including the world premieres of Tarell Alvin McCraney’s “The Brothers Size” and “Wig Out!”.

Her repertoire also includes impactful collaborations on productions such as Branden Jacobs-Jenkins “An Octoroon”, Lynn Nottages “Ruined”, and Radha Blanks “Seed” (at the 10th Annual DC Hip-Hop Theater Festival and featuring the acting talents of Bridgit Antoinette Evans), among others.

Katrina holds a Master of Fine Arts from Yale University as well as a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas.
