The Abundance Mindset: More is More

The three-day Becoming America Festival virtual experience was created to inspire and engage young people to vote. Inspired by the joy and community of music festivals, the impact of thought conferences, the passion of social movements, and the energy of the most diverse generation in our country’s history, the Becoming America Festival celebrated a generation and its power at the polls. From October 30 to November 1, 2020, influencers on Tik Tok, Instagram, and YouTube performed, shared personal stories, conducted interviews, and more with the goal of inspiring and engaging young people to vote. Participants included Yara Shahidi, who sat down with activist Angela Davis on Instagram, and TwinsthenewTrend, who discovered Sam Cooke’s “A Change is Gonna Come” on YouTube.
