Meet our grantee:
Family Values @ Work

Type of grant:
Movement-led Pop Culture Narrative StrategiesFamily Values @ Work (FV@W) is a national network of grassroots coalitions in 27 states working to establish family and medical leave insurance (FMLI) and earned sick and safe days (ESSD) at the state and national levels. Their vision is to build the world that collectively we need and deserve, where everyone has time to heal and care for self and loved ones; where everyone can explore pursuits outside of work; and where care is valued appropriately both in and outside the home. Funding from the Collaborative will support FV@W to work in partnership with the Center for Media and Social Impact to develop a comedy writers room focused on creating stories about paid leave, as well as to advance the organization’s partnerships in television writers rooms.
