Wise Entertainment’s long-term culture change strategy is to create an ecosystem and metrics methodology that generates equality and opportunity for and about entertainment content producers, artists, showrunners, and writers of color. To do so, Wise is developing Metrics of Color, a media measurement methodology designed to provide a way to understand how people of color consume, share, and engage with content. The project aims to educate gatekeepers and develop a media currency that empowers producers who are generating content that appeals to and serves audiences of color, including but not limited to immigrants, refugees, and Muslims.
